TIME Person of the Year is the annual selection of the individual or group with the greatest impact on our world. Also includes Businessperson of the Year, Athlete of the Year, Entertainer of the Year and Guardians of the Year.
For TIME’s 2021 Person of the Year, I helped evolve the campaign into a multi-platform cultural moment, translating the magazine’s iconic editorial franchise into dynamic brand expressions across motion, social, and digital.
Building on the record-setting success of the 2021 campaign—featuring Elon Musk and Alicia Keys, which garnered 886K social mentions, 13.5B in reach, and 9.2M reader poll votes—the 2022 brief demanded equally high-impact creative that honored TIME’s legacy while pushing its relevance. I crafted visually resonant assets that amplified the announcement across channels, strengthened audience connection, and reinforced TIME’s position at the center of the
cultural zeitgeist.

The TIME Person of the Year Event honored those individuals who have had the most impact of that year. The most iconic moment of TIME’s calendar, the event highlighted the work of 2022’s most influential leaders, entertainers, athletes, and icons.
The star-studded, invite-only event, held at the iconic Plaza New York, featured musical performances from the Grammy-nominated Mickey Guyton, an interview with TIME’s Icon of the Year; Michelle Yeoh, special toasts and a bespoke activation in the Montblanc writing corner where VIP guests and influencers were invited to share what inspires them and leave their mark.
